Angel''s Ball - ABC

Our 7th annual Angels Ball, entitled, Angels Ball ABC ~ Educating Angels for the Future! There was a sumptuous 5-course Italian dinner, live entertainment, a DJ so that attendees could dance the night away, and both a fabulous live, and silent auction. Funds raised at our Ball supported two exciting educational programs happening right here in Ontario. The first is Mens Sana, operated through Villa Charities to assist mentally challenged adults through day services, residential adult programs, respite, and, crisis and clinical support. The second, Outside Looking In, is a performance-oriented program designed to challenge aboriginal youth to stay-the-course and graduate from high school. It also introduces the participants to the non-aboriginal culture of Ontario, and that culture to them. Exciting and innovative! Another highlight of the evening was the induction of Mr. Nick Sgro, as our Honourary Rotarian for 2010. Mr. Sgro is being so honoured because of his numerous contributions to our local community, especially Villa Charities and it many good works.
